Introducing... the Family Child Care Self-Efficacy Scale

Empowering Child Care Providers to take charge of their own professional journey!

Self-efficacy refers to the belief you have in your ability to succeed in a specific situation or accomplish a task. In family child care, self-efficacy influences decision-making, resilience, and quality of the care you provide. This scale was developed through research and input from providers like you to reflect all the different skills needed to run a successful family child care business.

We are looking for a number of providers to complete the FCC Self-Efficacy Scale to check for reliability and validity prior to publication. At the end of the survey, you will receive a Self-Efficacy "score" that may help you set professional goals and intentionally seek professional development and support.

The first 150 providers to complete the survey will also be invited to join a Community of Practice facilitated by Jen Cortes, author of Opening Your Doors; A Comprehensive Guide to Owning and Operating a Family Child Care! Jen would love to see you in this community where you can learn from other providers!
